The vacancy exists in the Branchburg Township School District for the  school year:

School Bus Aides Dates:
September 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026. Not to exceed 4.75 hours per day. 4 positions are available.

• High school diploma or GED or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Provide support to assigned student(s) during transportation, including assisting with safely boarding and exiting the bus, and ensuring care and supervision in alignment with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Assist bus driver in supervision of students on the bus to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist bus driver in enforcement of rules of student conduct on the bus.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Transportation.

Compensation: $19.86 per hour

• Optical Reimbursement:
  Branchburg Township School District offers $250 per year towards optical reimbursement including prescription glasses or prescription contact lenses.
• Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.

• Sick, Personal, Critical Family Illness, and Bereavement Days are included.
