You’re a positive and enthusiastic people‑person with a passion for fruit, superfoods and all things healthy. As a Shift Leader, you are considered an extension of management and may be trusted with the shop during times in which management is not present. You should be comfortable delegating tasks and excel at doing so in a manner that prioritizes the needs of the shop.

• Manage and maintain the quality of food, discarding product when necessary
• Delegate work to employees responsibly
• Lead opening and closing shifts
• Issue refunds
• Solve customer issues politely and professionally
• Record inventory levels throughout the shift and at the end of the night
• Count the register, safe, and deposit
• Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues during the shift
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards

• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by providing friendly, attentive service and ensuring satisfaction with every guest interaction
• Ability to lead by example and adhere to company policies to foster a positive and collaborative work environment and support team development
• Proven ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced dynamic environment, quickly adjusting to changing priorities and customer needs to maintain seamless operations
• Skill at prioritizing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as managing team productivity and assisting with customer service
• Clear and effective communication with team members, managers, and customers, with the ability to delegate tasks and provide instructions concisely
• Ability to stay composed and think quickly under pressure, handling disputes or challenges among team members or customers professionally and calmly
• Demonstration of empathy, understanding, and active listening skills when addressing concerns or ideas towards team members and customers
• Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and operational protocols and monitoring team performance to ensure quality in product preparation and presentation

• Must be available to work 5 shifts a week, minimum of 30 hours a week
• Must be available weekends but expected to work as the business dictates
• Must pass required PB Food Safety certification within 3 months of employment

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift or otherwise move 25–40 pounds occasionally
• Ability to retrieve items from high and low shelving, fridge/freezer, and under counters
• Tolerance for occasionally loud environments (high powered blenders, timers, and order notifications)
• Ability to frequently move about inside the establishment to access the POS cash register, assemble guest orders, clear tables, restock inventory, etc.
