As an Automotive Technician, you'll dive into diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of domestic and foreign vehicles. We're looking for individuals who embody honesty and integrity—qualities that help us build lasting relationships with our neighbors.
We're excited to find motivated individuals with a can-do attitude and some experience performing tasks such as:
- Spotting electrical and mechanical issues in vehicles
- Handling everyday maintenance for personal cars, business fleets, and more
- Working on gasoline and/or diesel engines, brakes, suspension systems, and other key parts
- Using diagnostic software, flow charts and test equipment
- Repairing tires, mounting and balancing and performing wheel alignments
Pay is flexible within our range, and benefits can adjust as needed—they're not set in stone. We pay hourly and offer bonuses based on performance
This job opening is for an Automotive Technician spot right here at our shop, and we'll keep strong applicants in mind for any future full-time, part-time, or short-term needs. What We're Looking For:Education & Experience: Whatever mix of schooling, training, and hands‑on time gives you the basics—like reading and writing in English, simple math, and at least a year in auto repair or an entry‑level program. We value self‑motivation and an eagerness to learn as you develop your career with us.
License: You'll need a valid California driver's license to get the job done.
Certifications: Not mandatory but we encourage ASE certs in things like Engine Repair (A1), Brakes (A5), Electrical Systems (A6), HVAC (A7), and Engine Performance (A8). Going for Master ASE is a big plus.
Tools: Bring your own set of hand tools for the work—we'll provide the rest. We appreciate cleanliness in maintaining a tidy workspace that reflects our community standards.
Skills That Fit Our Shop:
Knowledge: The essentials of how engines and vehicles tick; everyday tools, repair tricks, and safety habits; how to stay organized on the job; and using computers for info and records.
Abilities: Figuring out mechanical and safety fixes; picking the right repairs; handling tools and gear like a pro; reading specs and finding parts; following directions; keeping good records; chatting clearly in English; and doing basic math.
