Physician, Hourly Intermittent, Temporary at Sonoma State University (Student Health Center)

We are seeking a licensed MD or DO in California, board certified in primary care, to provide primary health services to students. The physician will work part‑time on an hourly basis within the Student Health Center, offering direct patient care, preventive services, and health education while collaborating with campus partners.

• Provide direct primary care to students, including acute illness, minor injury, screening, and preventive services.
• Offer reproductive health care, including medication abortion.
• Deliver health education and preventive counseling.
• Participate in department planning, quality improvement, committee work, and outreach activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with privacy regulations.

• Current MD or DO license in California.
• Board certification in primary care.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
• Experience or interest in working with student populations, especially historically marginalized communities.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Hourly rate: $105–$125 per hour. Position is part‑time, temporary, non‑exempt. Reappointment depends on performance.
