Project Engineer​/Project Management

PPI Engineering, a Vineyard and Civil Engineering consulting firm in Napa, is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our team. PPI specializes in all aspects of vineyard planning and design including: erosion control; irrigation, frost, and cooling system design; reservoir design; grading and drainage plans; local, State, and Federal permitting; surveying, mapping, and construction services. Our clients are primarily vineyards and wineries throughout California with the majority in Napa, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties.

Our ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, possesses a flexible attitude, and excels in always keeping the big picture in mind. They will have a minimum of 3 years engineering design experience, a Bachelors Degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering, and an EIT certificate or Professional Engineering license. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to be part of a close-knit team.

Experience in hydrologic modeling, hydraulic calculations, irrigation design and erosion control are desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and Outlook
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Ability to be comfortable with schedule changing on a daily basis
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease
• The ability to effectively balance long-term goals with day-to-day demands
• A valid driver's license

The position is a full-time office-based position located in the city of Napa. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
