Arborist Crew Leader

Responsibilities:

• Safely perform and supervise all aspects of arboriculture, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals, and proper maintenance of equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Lead by example with a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude on the job site.
• Supervise and manage crews under direction of the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensure crew members are trained for each designated job assignment.
• Maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
• Communicate with clients, answering questions and building relationships.
• Promote a passion for nature and the outdoors.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree‑care industry.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
• Experience supervising crews is preferred.
