Hospital
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue to aid diagnosis
- Perform CT procedures and may assist with general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
- Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety during imaging; apply radiation safety protocols
- Review and document image quality, make adjustments to achieve diagnostic-quality studies, and enter results into patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging protocols and patient care
- Maintain equipment safety, cleanliness, and infection control in a hospital imaging department
- Active California radiologic technologist license (or eligibility) as required for practice
- ARRT CT certification or eligibility
- Experience operating CT equipment and performing related imaging modalities
- Strong patient communication skills and ability to work within a clinical team
- Availability to work nights in a hospital setting; ability to meet travel assignment requirements
