Electrical Drafter

American Extrusion International is a global company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, installation and service of Grain Extrusion Equipment and other up/downstream accessories for the Food Industry.

• Create electrical drawings as instructed.
• Update archived prints when necessary.
• Update bill of materials for new jobs.
• Organize bill of materials to streamline process.
• Communicate effectively with Shop Supervisor and Controls Engineer regarding jobs.
• Produce quality work.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers when necessary.

• Demonstrate ability to use AutoCAD Electrical to generate electrical prints.
• Have experience drawing and dimensioning electrical prints.
• Show attention to detail.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Have an Associate's Degree or be in the last semester
• Be organized and take pride on the work
• Be able to work unsupervised following guidelines set by superior.

• Reports to:
  
  Controls Engineer.
• Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
• Salary Range: $45,000 to $65,000 based on experience ($21.63-$31.25/hr)
