Shift: Mon.

- Thur. 3:25pm - 1:55am, Fri. 1:30pm - 10:00pm

Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/ hour (DOE) + $1.00/hour 2nd shift differential

SUMMARY

The Shipping Coordinator is to perform all shipping responsibilities including verifying and keeping all records of incoming and outgoing shipments organized, prepares all finished products for shipping by using Computer ERP System, uses hand and power tolls, this includes forklift, power lifts. This individual must follow the below responsibilities to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Unloads fabricated products from paint carts.
  • Receive paperwork from the office for future shipments.
  • Process paperwork according to product received from assembly department.
  • Organize incomplete orders in the shipping area.
  • Apply appropriate shipping labels and/or packing lists.
  • Stage product in the proper area for shipping
  • Assist receiving as needed.
  • Banding/wrapping
  • Daily use of ERP system
  • Track internal movements of late or soon to be late orders.
  • Uses forklifts to move finished goods as needed.
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Supply Chain Department
  • Helps maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Use forklift to transport product.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE
  • GED or High school Diploma.
  • 1 year experience working in the shipping area of a manufacturing/metal fabrication company.
  • Power tool experience.
  • Strong compute knowledge
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to work 10-hour days.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
