At Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure in South Beloit, IL, you’ll help shape infrastructure—tying rebar, setting up welds for smooth production runs, finishing concrete, and keeping materials flowing. If you bring reliability and a safety-first mindset, we’ll teach you the rest.

Your first 90 days: a clear path

We believe in transparent, contract-defined pay. Here’s how you progress:$17.31/hour on day one $18.71/hour at 30 days $20.11/hour at 60 days $21.51/hour at 90 days (full Laborer rate set by contract)
Plus, earn daily overtime—time-and-a-half after 8 hours—and double time on Sundays and holidays. Many teammates average 15–17 OT hours weekly. At the top rate, typical OT plus retirement contributions can total about $76,000–$80,000 a year (first 90 days: ~$62,000–$65,000). Overtime varies with production and isn’t guaranteed.

Bonuses: $100 at 30 days, $200 at 60 days, $300 at 90 days Retirement: company deposits $2.16 for every hour you work after 30 working days—about $4,500/year; you contribute nothing

Health insurance: medical, dental, vision, prescription, and disability—company pays $655/month for you or $1,966/month for family; starts the 1st of the month after 30 days Schedule and setting

Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (around 50 hours/week with OT), plus some Saturdays. Industrial environment; not air conditioned. Expect lifting of 35+ lbs. PPE: hard hat, ear protection, steel-toe boots (we cover half the boot cost, up to two pairs/year) with rain and winter gear provided.
