Hours:

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM. Flexible locations may be required to cover absences or vacations; reliable personal transportation is necessary for travel between sites.

Program Director

Kaleidoscope supports a safe and respectful environment for all children and parents, fostering a nurturing space that promotes social and academic growth. The aide assists the Site Coordinator in maintaining a positive atmosphere and upholding high standards of personal conduct, including appropriate communication in tone, volume, and content with both children and adults. The role requires the ability to move throughout the site to meet children’s needs, to stand and support activity stations, and to provide flexible coverage at different sites as required.

• Arrive on time and contribute as a reliable member of the team.
• Supervise and assist children with homework and daily activities.
• Maintain friendly, professional communication with parents, students, and coworkers.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of children throughout the shift.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and quickly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Coordinator or Director.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; proven experience with children preferred.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills, collaborate with team members, solve problems effectively, and demonstrate a genuine love for working with children.
• Physical ability to stand, move between activity stations, lift and carry 25–50 lbs, escort students through the building, and respond to emergencies.
• Regular attendance during scheduled hours is essential.
• Ability to manage stress and maintain physical mobility as directed at the site.
