Per Diem Ob/Gyn Hospitalists - We're Hiring at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana - Great Location between Detroit and Chicago!

• Provide OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery care as part of a collaborative OB hospitalist program with staff, obstetricians, family practice physicians, and subspecialists.
• Work 24-hour shifts (or 12-hour shifts if preferred) alongside neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine physicians.
• Engage with MFM physicians to care for high-risk antepartum and intrapartum patients.
• Collaborate with a team of 7 Certified Nurse Midwives.
• Coordinate neonatal care with Pediatrix Neonatology physicians, ensuring optimal neonatal outcomes.
• Work in a Level III NICU and Perinatal Center, with access to Level II trauma services, Med Flight, and specialized maternal OB transport.
• Handle approximately 3 deliveries per 24-hour shift, with around 2,000 annual deliveries.
• Participate in teaching and clinical activities related to the OB Hospitalist program.
• Located conveniently between Chicago and Detroit, near the University of Notre Dame and Lake Michigan.

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Indiana medical license or IMLC compact license
• Seeking ongoing coverage with per diem providers

We cover travel expenses (flight, rental car or mileage, lodging) for providers outside a commutable distance, and malpractice insurance for this W-2 position.

Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO, holidays, or additional compensation.
