Young Minds Development Center is looking for an experienced and motivated Center Director to lead our premier childcare center in Mishawaka, Indiana
. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education.

Base Pay Range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of early childhood educators
  • Oversee daily center operations, ensuring high-quality educational programming
  • Maintain compliance with Indiana state childcare licensing regulations
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with families and the local community
  • Manage enrollment, staffing, and budgets with a growth-focused mindset
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging workplace culture
  • Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Serve in various roles as needed to support center operations
Qualifications
  • REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • REQUIRED: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Director or Assistant Director in an early learning or childcare setting
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive, proactive attitude with flexibility to support center needs
  • Must meet background check eligibility requirements
