Quality Engineer – South Bend, IN (Urgent Hire!)

Our South Bend, IN location is growing, and we’re looking for a hands‑on Quality Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of our copper and brass operations.

• Interface with all branches to address internal and external quality issues.
• Maintain quality charts, reports, and facilitate rapid root‑cause investigations.
• Drive Continuous Improvement projects to reduce quality escapes across sites.
• Partner with branch Quality Leadership to ensure customer metrics are met.
• Support root cause, corrective action, and process improvement initiatives.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required under ITAR regulations).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality control methods
  .
• Strong skills in root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read technical prints/drawings; knowledge of inspection processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred:
  Six Sigma Greenbelt, AS9100 auditor certification (or ability to obtain), aerospace background, CNC/Mfg experience, CMM, FAI, PPAP, 8D problem solving.
