Currently, our client is looking for a Plastics Engineer with a background in injection molding to join their team.

• Improve injection molding processes through continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot issues with injection molding processes and implement resolutions
• Create SOPs for new injection molding processes and update SOPs to improve current processes
• Work with maintenance to determine technical issues with equipment and acceptable troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of parts
• Assist with new model launches
• Monitor KPIs and resolve or improve processes based on findings
• Ensure injection molded product compliance with necessary quality standards and eliminate part defects
• Work with equipment operators to ensure smooth mold changeovers
• Reduce scrap where possible

• A degree or equivalent experience with injection molding processes
• Previous technical experience with injection molding processes is essential
• Proven experience improving injection molding processes through Continuous Improvement and/or Lean
