Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Fire Protection Sprinkler Design Assistant. You will be responsible for assisting in designing layouts using AutoCAD/Hydra

CAD and creating hydraulic calculations.

• Assist in the design and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems
• Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications
• Work with and comprehend mathematical concepts including hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis
• Familiarize with fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, Hydra
  
  CAD, Auto Sprink, and Revit
• Provide lists for fabrication
• Other duties assigned

• Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitude, with attention to detail
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
