Clinical Educator (BMG) – Beacon Health System
Reports to the Director/Manager in the BMG Administration Department. Responsible for the clinical training of staff across all clinical positions within BMG (RN, LPN, CMA, RMA, CCMA, CCA, and others).

- Facilitate needs analysis to identify educational needs and develop training programs.
- Plan, design, coordinate and deliver training, education programs and instructional materials.
- Prepare, evaluate and update lesson plans, lectures, tests and programs meeting regulatory and changing needs.
- Deliver clinical training via group and individual instruction.
- Conduct train‑the‑trainer classes and lead clinical staff training.
- Prepare administrative support materials (schedules, rosters, evaluations).
- Monitor staff progress, provide instruction and counseling, and recommend actions to the Manager/Director.
- Serve as a resource for various departments, committees, Beacon Health System, physician groups and referral organizations.
- Obtain and maintain certifications: CPR Instructor, TB Instructor/Validator, EKG Trainer, PPE Validation, and other required certifications.
- Administer training platforms (Net Learning, Mosby, EKG systems) and regulated medical waste processes.
- Maintain CPR and TB certifications, and professional affiliations.
- Read current professional literature and journals.
- Assist in policy and procedure development.
- Participate in community activities as requested.
- Complete other job‑related assignments and special projects.
- Attend and participate in department meetings.
- Complete mandatory education, annual competencies and departmental education within established time frames.
- Meet annual employee health requirements.
- Maintain active licenses and registrations.
- Adhere to universal precautions, protective equipment, ergonomic techniques.
- Comply with regulatory agency requirements, survey processes and compliance.
- Work overtime and additional shifts when required.

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current Indiana license.
- Minimum three years of nursing experience and two years of staff educator/trainer role.
- Certification preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of training programs, techniques, tools, equipment.
- Competency in performing procedures, assessments, treatments.
- Analytical skills for training needs analysis and program design.
- Ability to teach staff with varied educational backgrounds.
- Leadership skills to coordinate and motivate staff.
- Initiative and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective feedback delivery to learners.
- Classroom environment with frequent travel to various Beacon Medical Group sites.
- Requires physical ability and stamina for essential functions.
