Registered Behavior Technician RBT – Afternoon Part Time
Are you looking for a fun, rewarding career dedicated to helping children reach their full potential? If so, join us as an RBT at Lighthouse Autism Center! As an RBT, you will work with a team of clinicians and behavior analysts to provide high‑quality, center‑based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. You will receive all training needed to play an integral role in helping children learn new skills and reach their goals.
Responsibilities- Work one‑on‑one with children (18 months to school age) to provide ABA therapy in a center‑based approach.
- Collaborate with clinicians and behavior analysts to implement custom therapy plans unique to each child.
- Use creativity and enthusiasm in a play‑based and naturalistic therapy setting.
- Help children progress in educational and social settings and prepare them to transition to a more traditional school setting.
- Track and document progress for each child as you implement therapy programs.

- Paid training to earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and career advancement support.
- Tuition reimbursement for master’s level education and guidance toward BCBA certification.

- Part‑time schedule, Monday–Friday, 12:00–4:00 p.m., 20 hours per week.

- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- Experience working with children preferred but not required.
- A passion for working with children on the autism spectrum and their families.

- Lift/carry more than 50 lbs and sustain impact to body; run, crouch, squat, kneel for sustained periods; bend at waist; sit/stand quickly; communicate expressively verbally and in writing.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
- Undergo a background check and drug test at hire.
Part‑time
Compensation$18.00–$21.00 per hour
