IT Operations Technician

IT Operations Technician at Epic Hosting. This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and relocation to the area is required. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As an IT Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of the team's central nervous system—monitoring the entire Hosting infrastructure stack and responding swiftly to problems. You will employ investigative and troubleshooting skills across a variety of tools to identify and resolve both routine and complex network, hardware, virtualization, and presentation problems. You will connect with contacts from healthcare organizations to address impact, communicate issues, and perform system builds.

• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, initiative, and leadership abilities

• Knowledge of Internet networking protocols and tools like TCP/IP, ping, and trace route
• Knowledge of Linux, especially Ubuntu, Redhat, or CentOS
• CompTIA+, CCNA, Network+, or Linux+ certification
• Knowledge of VMware
