The Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment provides strategic leadership for enrollment management at Indiana University (IU) South Bend. The position works collaboratively with campus leadership, Academic Affairs, faculty, staff, and enrollment-related units to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and institutional goals. As a senior campus leader, the Associate Vice Chancellor leads enrollment planning and operations and uses data, technology, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to strengthen the student enrollment experience.

• Ensures that enrollment strategies align with IU South Bend's mission, strategic priorities, academic programs, and the needs of the students and communities the campus serves.
• Provides strategic leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive, student-centered, data-informed enrollment management strategy for IU South Bend.
• Collaborates with campus executive leadership, Academic Affairs, Student Engagement, faculty, staff, and enrollment-related units to establish enrollment goals and strategies aligned with institutional priorities.
• Develops and implements enrollment strategies designed to support recruitment, admission, matriculation, retention, and completion across diverse student populations.
• Provides supervision, leadership, and strategic direction to enrollment management functions and ensures effective coordination among offices that contribute to the student enrollment lifecycle.
• Works with campus partners to create an integrated approach to enrollment management.
• Partners with Academic Affairs to align enrollment goals with academic priorities and develop program-specific recruitment and enrollment strategies.
• Uses enrollment data, market trends, student demographics, and institutional data to identify opportunities, establish priorities, assess outcomes, and inform enrollment decisions.
• Establishes measurable enrollment goals and regularly evaluates recruitment, yield, enrollment, and retention outcomes to determine the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
• Leads the effective use of enrollment technologies, customer relationship management systems, analytics, and other tools that support recruitment and enrollment operations.
• Develops and recommends resource and budget priorities that support enrollment goals and the effective operation of enrollment-related functions.
• Identifies opportunities to improve enrollment processes, policies, communications, and services to deliver an efficient, student-centered experience.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives and fosters collaboration across campus to address enrollment challenges and advance institutional enrollment priorities.
• Maintains awareness of emerging enrollment management trends, technologies, policies, regulations, and best practices and evaluates their potential application at IU South Bend.
• Develops, mentors, and supports enrollment management leaders and staff by setting clear expectations, promoting professional development, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
• Builds productive relationships across Indiana University and with external organizations, schools, community partners, and other stakeholders that support IU South Bend's enrollment objectives.
• Represents IU South Bend on appropriate university, community, regional, state, and professional committees and initiatives.
• Serves as a strategic advisor to campus leadership on enrollment trends, challenges, opportunities, and strategies.
• Performs other duties as assigned in support of the campus's mission and enrollment goals.
