Production Lead (Manufacturing)
Serves as a working team lead responsible for training, mentoring, and guiding employees to meet departmental standards and production goals. Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining expertise in machine operation and department processes.
Reports ToProduction Supervisor
Key Responsibilities- Train and mentor employees in equipment operation, quality procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain expert‑level knowledge of all machines and processes within the department.
- Support supervisors by directing daily work when needed and ensuring workflow continuity.
- Collaborate to update training materials and reflect current operating procedures.
- Monitor employee skill progression, provide feedback, and record competency levels.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Identify and resolve process, tooling, or material issues collaboratively.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cross‑training initiatives.
