• Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Position Summary: We are seeking a meticulous Quality Engineer Supervisor (Plastic Injection Molding) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through various inspection methods.

• Supervise all quality department activities, including inspection and audit, to ensure compliance with the quality system and customer requirements and expectations
• Perform press checks
• Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Develop and report quality metrics for all stages of manufacturing, from purchased material through customer receipt
• Train, supervise and empower all inspectors, quality technicians and quality engineers in the assigned business unit
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines
• Conduct quality audits to identify areas for improvement in the production process
• Implement, improve, and maintain quality systems and procedures
• Monitor adherence to FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Handle customer concern responses
• Participate in internal and external meetings
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly

• Previous Quality Engineer & Quality Supervisor experience
• Experience with customer communication regarding quality matters
• Experience overseeing Quality Auditors and presence on the production floor to monitor production quality
• Proven Quality Assurance experience within Plastic Injection Molding or related industries
• Experience with precision measuring tools and instruments (3+ years)
• Knowledge of quality management systems
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and cGMP standards
• Experience with external ISO audits
• Ability to conduct quality audits effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection processes
• Experience with medical new product lines (OQ / PQ)
