WNDU is the NBC Affiliate located on the campus of Notre Dame. The station leads in first‑alert weather and broadcasts major sports including Notre Dame Football, NFL Sunday Night Football, NBA Basketball, Big Ten Football, MLB, and the Olympics. It combines these with news broadcasts and digital products to help clients reach future customers.
Job Summary
Gray Media in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking an energetic, positive‑minded salesperson to consult with local business owners and create advertising campaigns that exceed their business goals. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to showcase our marketing solutions compellingly.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly metric goals
- Use and learn data‑based results
- Cold‑call and prospect for new clients
- Secure marketing commitments from new clients
- Conduct thorough client needs analyses
- Present proposed strategic solutions and tactics
- Provide follow‑up assessments of advertising effectiveness
- 1‑2 years of cold calling or sales‑related experience preferred
- Experience in media sales is a plus but not required
- Excellent writing and communication skills, experience with MS Office products
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Google Ad Certifications a plus
- Clean driving record, MVR
