Position: Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in South Bend, IN

Experienced Registered Nurses passionate about advanced cardiac care are needed for a Cath Lab RN opportunity. This key role supports a dynamic team, providing expert care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.

Schedule/

Hours:
  • One weekend on-call shift per month
  • Weekday on-call: 4-5 days per pay period (includes weekend shifts)
  • Call coverage runs from the end of shift to 7:30 am (Monday-Friday as scheduled)
  • Weekend call:
    End of shift Friday to Monday 7:30 am
Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Demonstrated experience in a Cath Lab or similar cardiac care setting
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is required
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
  • Flexibility with on-call requirements and ability to handle high-acuity situations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert hands‑on care during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placements, and related procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after Cath Lab procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Accurately administer medications and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies with calm, effective decision‑making
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post‑procedure care, and ongoing cardiac health

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
