The talented team at Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame is seeking a Restaurant Cook (Part-Time) with a heart for service to join their Traditions team. Located steps from the University of Notre Dame, the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame is known for its inviting ambiance with vaulted ceilings, indoor fireplace, and outdoor dining terrace.

As part of our culinary team, you’ll contribute to our onsite restaurant, Traditions; working alongside a dedicated hospitality team committed to quality, consistency, and warm service in a modern, all‑suite property that attracts travelers, university visitors, and game‑day crowds.

Part-Time
Shift Pattern: PM with flexible availability to include weekends and holidays

The ideal candidate is an experienced line cook with a strong background in high‑volume restaurant operations. They excel in fast‑paced environments, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and composure during peak service. This person works seamlessly as part of a team, communicates clearly, and supports a positive kitchen culture. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to food quality and safety round out their skill set, making them a valuable addition to the culinary team.

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
