South Bend Supply - Yard​/Warehouse

Kuert Supply Store is looking to add a motivated, friendly, and sociable individual to our team in South Bend, Indiana. We are looking for a hard-working individual to assist in the daily operations with the primary focus being the warehouse. This is a full-time position with some Saturdays required during the busy season.

As a warehouse person we are looking for someone who will load customers with product and unload trucks delivering product to Kuert. This person needs to have good interpersonal skills while dealing with customers, handle the physical requirements of the position, and be capable of operating loading equipment. This person will be required to keep the warehouse and grounds neat and orderly.

Primary Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist with loading/unloading of products when needed
Maintain warehouse, stock shelves, organize grounds, cleaning etc.
Help pull product for transfers to other locations
Help pull product for customer deliveries
Assist in inventory cycle counting
Cut and bend rebar (training will be provided)
Ability to operate forklifts and skid loader (training provided)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
Driver’s license/reliable transportation
Good communication skills including verbal and written
Be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
Timely and well-kept
Must be able to lift up to 94 pounds
Willingness to work in wet, dry, hot, and cold temperatures
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to work well with co-workers and customers
Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift under OSHA standards
