Staff Accountant – AJ Transport

As a Staff Accountant, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Having strong analytical skills and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, strong computer skills are required.

• Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies.
• Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill.
• Manage financial data to discover outstanding invoices.
• Draft invoice statements for customers and vendors.
• Enter all relevant data into accounting software.
• Issue invoices and bills and send them to customers through various channels (mail, e‑mail, etc.).
• Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary.
• Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills.

• Proven experience as Staff Accountant (trucking experience preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and working knowledge of relevant software.
• Superb interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma; further education will be a plus.
