The Opportunity Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Hitachi Energy is seeking a Process Optimization Engineer to join our team during off-shift hours. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to improving operational efficiency, driving Lean initiatives, and supporting cross-functional teams across production, maintenance, quality, and more. You'll work hands-on to analyze operations, develop smarter processes, and ensure our systems run smoothly and safely.

• Monitor and assess production flow, operator movement, and equipment layout.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.
• Lead and participate in Kaizen events to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Work Instructions and Standard Work documentation.
• Collaborate with teams across production, ITM, maintenance, quality, and procurement.
• Identify and execute CAPEX and cost-reduction projects.
• Solve operational challenges while ensuring HSE and quality compliance.
• Use engineering software to analyze data and generate reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator across diverse teams and disciplines.
• Proficient in engineering software and data analysis tools.
