We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Craft Technician with a strong electrical background to support our industrial manufacturing operation. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, as well as performing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:- Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment including PLCs, motors, drives (VFDs), sensors and control systems using testing devices and diagnostic tools
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automated equipment
- Install, modify and upgrade electrical components and systems to meet production needs and safety standards
- Perform mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, and gearboxes
- Perform facility maintenance on air compressors, boilers and related equipment
- Document work orders, repairs, and parts usage
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance departments to improve machine uptime and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus in a manufacturing environment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power, motor controls, and PLCs
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Hands-on experience with 480V 3-phase systems, motor control circuits, and VFDs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach and attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the role
