, is currently seeking a Sous Chef
. Shore Leave is looking for the right candidate to join our well‑established Traveler Hospitality Restaurant Group and help lead our team.

Candidates should be motivated, patient, collaborative, and humble. We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership skills who can manage and guide our staff, aiming for balance between upholding the company’s standards and maintaining a safe and happy work environment. A passion for Japanese ingredients and sushi is a must.

• Ensure all quality, consistency of product
• Monthly inventories
• Work with Management team to meet or exceed all budgetary goals
• Organize all recipes, menu changes and private event menus and prep lists
• Participate in all menu development
• Schedule all cooks and support teams
• Hold staff accountable for cleanliness and organization
• Communicate changes of menus to all necessary team members
• Ordering
• Invoice management and processing
• Participate in manager meetings
• Controlling costs and expenses

• Minimum 2 years experience in kitchen management
• Sushi experience is not required but is considered a major advantage
• Serve Safe certified
• Choking and CPR certified
