The South Boston Police Department is seeking a Patrol Officer I / Police Officer Trainee to serve the local community with integrity and professional service. This role combines training at the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy with daily duties on the streets of South Boston, VA.
Starting salary for Police Officer Trainees is $49,350, with full salary and benefits during academy. Upon certification, progression to Police Officer II follows merit evaluations and regular raises.
