Customer Service Representative About the Role:

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing purchase orders, and coordinating dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. The representative will also handle problem resolution, addressing any issues that may arise during the order fulfillment process. By maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams, the representative will contribute to a seamless workflow and enhance the overall customer experience.

Ultimately, this role is vital in fostering long-term relationships with clients and supporting the company's reputation for reliability and service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required); 4 Year Degree (Preferred).
  • Proven experience in customer service, project management, account management, or another related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and computer skills.
  • Experience in the transportation and warehousing industry and dispatching processes (Preferred).
  • Experience with customer invoicing.
  • Experienced with problem resolution and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely dispatch of products to meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with warehousing staff to manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of products.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, utilizing problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
  • Prepare and distribute brochures and promotional materials to enhance customer engagement and awareness.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products to create reports and manage customer data efficiently.
  • Address customer complaints, ensuring that issues are handled swiftly and effectively.
  • Coordinate the logistics of product delivery, utilizing warehousing processes.
