The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy's field service team, where you'll support transformer technology and grid reliability across the power industry.

Working within our growing US Services HUB, you'll solve technical challenges in electrical substations nationwide while building strong customer relationships. You'll perform maintenance and service work that supports communities and contributes to the energy transition. Your work will include specialized technologies like vacuum oil processing and equipment diagnostics.

With up to 85% travel, you'll work in diverse environments and develop expertise across various technical challenges. This role offers solid growth opportunities in an expanding business area, where your work contributes to grid modernization. • High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields

• Valid driver s license with clean driving record and ability to travel up to 85% nationwide

• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform demanding tasks for extended periods

• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 12 hours daily

• Class A CDL preferred for operating specialized service vehicles

• Welding certification or experience preferred for enhanced field capabilities

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
