Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Implement individualized service plans for children and adolescents.
- Provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
- Assist behavioral therapists in creating effective therapy programs.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment by developing safety standards and teaching positive behaviors.
- Monitor and document observations of youth behavior, adjusting activities to meet therapeutic goals.
- Develop and lead engaging recreational activities that support emotional and social growth.
- College degree with at least one year of relevant work experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of supervised experience in positive behavior support and teaching ADL/Instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children and families.
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children and adolescents.
- Prior experience in behavioral interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional development are highly valued.
