Language Services Associates is seeking Bengali interpreters in the Monmouth, NJ area. As part of LSA’s network of Independent Contracted Interpreters, your role will be to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow the Code of Professional Conduct, including confidentiality standards
- Adhere to all policies, interpretation protocols, and industry best practices
- Complete required training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance
Qualifications:
- Full fluency in English and Bengali
- Knowledge of industry best practices, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to deliver high-quality client service
- Access to personal or public transportation
- 2+ years of interpreting experience preferred
- Industry certifications (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
