Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

We are in search of a results-driven Freight Broker to coordinate full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. You’ll connect customer shipping needs with reliable carriers, negotiate competitive rates, track shipments, and resolve issues to help ensure freight arrives safely and on time. This role is a great fit for someone who excels at building relationships, negotiating, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate FTL and LTL shipments from booking through delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and motor carriers.
• Source and secure dependable capacity to meet shipment requirements.
• Negotiate rates with customers and carriers while supporting service and profitability goals.
• Track shipments, communicate status updates, and address delays or other service issues.
• Review shipment details and documentation for accuracy.
• Use transportation management systems and other tools to manage loads and maintain records.
• Follow applicable transportation regulations and company procedures.
• Experience as a freight broker, freight agent, or in a similar transportation or logistics role.
• Knowledge of FTL/LTL shipping practices and the transportation industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with transportation management software or similar systems.

• Experience managing both FTL and LTL shipments.
• Familiarity with other transportation modes, such as rail, air, or ocean.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.

Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating between shippers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and timely problem resolution.
