Material Handler, Warehouse Associate
Position Summary
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting daily inventory operations. This role ensures that inventory data is up to date and materials are available to support business needs.
ScheduleMonday to Friday 6:45AM to 3:15PM
Weekends and Holidays as needed for any business needs
Pay$19/hr
Major Responsibilities- Receive, count, and record incoming inventory and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Label, organize, and store inventory properly
- Prepare inventory reports and documentation
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock replenishment as needed
- Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
- Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor
- 2 years of general office experience required
- 1 year of customer service experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must have RD,SP,EPJ experience
- Previous inventory, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move inventory as required
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Must be able to lift and move cartons up to 70 lbs.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
- AS400 experience preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
