D&K is seeking a civil engineer with 5–15 years of civil and/or aviation engineering experience, based in our rapidly growing aviation division. Projects include airport planning, runways and lighting system design, stormwater and drainage, pavement markings, and site grading.
Responsibilities- Engineering‑based planning, directing, and monitoring construction phase assignments on a range of airfield projects.
- Evaluation and analysis of existing projects.
- Apply knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and/or Unified Facilities Criteria.
- Position expected to be, or grow into, a design team leader/project manager.
- Professional Engineer License (P.E.) or ability to obtain one within 12 months.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree or higher.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Salary range: $70,000–$120,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
