Job Description
Hemodialysis Trainee is an entry‑level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician at University of Vermont Health. The trainee initiates, monitors, and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN and a preceptor during the orientation period.
The trainee has 18 months from the hire date to pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam. Scheduling and payment of the exam is solely the employee’s responsibility.
EducationHigh School Graduate.
ExperiencePrior health care experience preferred.
