Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to oversee HR, payroll, and compliance functions for a people-focused, service-based organization. This individual will serve as a key HR partner to executive leadership and support both office and field employees.
The role will provide leadership across employee relations, HR operations, payroll oversight, compliance, benefits, and other people-related initiatives.
- Lead and oversee HR, payroll, and compliance functions.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations and HR matters.
- Support HR operations for both office and field employees.
- Oversee payroll processes and related system initiatives.
- Oversee organizational compliance processes.
- Support benefits administration and an upcoming benefits transition.
- Partner with the selected benefits vendor on the transition.
- Lead and support the HR, payroll, and compliance teams.
- Partner closely with executive leadership on people-related matters and initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
- SHRM certification
- Previous HR leadership experience at the Director level or similar scope
- Strong background overseeing HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, legal, compliance, etc
- Strong employee relations skills with the ability to be compassionate while still being confident, decisive, and willing to hold people accountable
- Experience working in a people-focused/service-based organization
