Full Time (Permanent)

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT.

• Experience in creating requirement specifications based on architecture/design and process detailing.
• Design, implementation, and operational experience with middleware technologies such as Weblogic, Web Sphere, Jboss, Tomcat, Message Brokers, and Message Queues.
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting.
• Knowledge of application log management (server logs, thread/heap dumps).
• Ability to handle multiple complex, short-term projects and incidents simultaneously.
• Experience with automated monitoring tools like Nagios.
• Ability to identify incident and problem trend patterns and escalate as per protocols.
• Experience working with onshore/offshore teams and virtual communication tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Experience with project management.

• Administration of Apache Web Server, Tomcat, and AMQ server.
• Troubleshooting issues on web-tier servers running in VMWare on UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Monitoring and maintaining web server performance and health based on alerts from monitoring tools like Splunk, Solr, Prod Grid, and custom tools.
• SSL installation and configuration on Apache Web Server.
• Application performance tuning for Tomcat and Apache web servers.
• Monitoring and tuning of Apache Active MQ and load balancers.
• Linux Shell Scripting and management of Cron jobs.
