Overview
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Proactive Support Engineer!
Sym Quest Group, Inc. has an immediate opening in South Burlington, VT for an experienced Proactive Support Engineer to join our growing Support Services Team. In this position you will provide remote technical support for Microsoft-based business environments. You must be excited about technology, self-motivated, and enjoy serving others.
An ideal candidate will have real world experience in either a helpdesk or network administration position, with a good understanding of Windows workstation and server operating systems, application installation and troubleshooting, and Active Directory administration and management. Responsibilities- Network Administration tasks (tasks include server health checks, backup and restore testing, antivirus and antimalware updates, operating system builds and patches, Windows and firmware updates.)
- Complete Safety Net monitoring changes
- Remote management platform maintenance
- You should have skills or working knowledge in several Workstation Operating Systems
- Network Operating Systems
- Understanding of Microsoft products, third party utilities, local and wide-area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems
- Must have inherent troubleshooting skills - the ability to isolate problems and their source quickly through logical deduction
- Experience with remote management systems desirable
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra , Active Directory
- Industry certifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess inherent troubleshooting skills
- Desire to "do what it takes" to solve technical challenges
- Practical, hands on technical experience is a must
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Demonstration of excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization via phone and in person
