As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in South Burlington, VT
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security‑related incidents through your visible presence and engagement. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to help minimize disruptions at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing assigned duties.
• Assist in access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
