The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and payments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.

• Receive and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers.
• Obtain necessary approvals for payment.
• Payment Processing:
  • Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payments made.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate accounting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Data Entry:
  • Enter invoice and payment data into accounting software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare and generate various reports as needed.
• Compliance:
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ Years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with Procede.
• High volume of weekly invoice processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
