This is a high-volume, process-driven position where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing repetitive, documentation-heavy work, following detailed procedures, and adapting to changing processes and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review provider revalidation applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify documentation against established requirements based on provider type or specialty
  • Request missing or additional documentation from providers via email and, when needed, phone
  • Apply established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements when reviewing documentation
  • Maintain accurate provider lists, tracking information, documentation, and reports
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations
  • Communicate with internal team members regarding questions, exceptions, or unusual situations

  • Assist with additional administrative and project-related duties as needed
Ideal Candidate

  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfort performing repetitive, documentation-focused work for extended periods
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures and compare documentation against established requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently after training
  • Flexibility and adaptability as processes and priorities evolve
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and willingness to assist with changing project needs
  • Good judgment and a willingness to ask questions rather than make assumptions

Ability to understand how document review impacts subsequent stages of the overall process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Teams, SharePoint, and/or Planner is strongly preferred
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of experience in healthcare application processing or healthcare-related escalation support preferred
