- Under general supervision, places and removes equipment from the beach.
- Organizes equipment (chairs, umbrellas, and lifeguard stands) in the Beach Services warehouse.
- Repairs chairs, lifeguard stands, umbrellas as well as various other beach equipment.
- Performs additional warehouse work as directed.
- May assist with off season programs and employment recruiting. Reports to the General Concession Manager or Beach Patrol.
- Entry level position.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Experience in customer service related field preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to get from Beach Services warehouse to the beach.
Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or carrying objects up to 40 pounds, and pushing and/or pulling of wheeled beach carts and materials weighing up to 150 pounds. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions on the oceanfront.
