Project Manager - Heavy Civil/Construction/MS Project/OSHA

Location: Columbia, SC
Pay: $85,000-$125,000 base + annual bonus
Schedule: Full-time | Direct Hire | On-site

They are looking for you, an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex civil construction projects from start to finish. This is a direct hire opportunity with long-term career growth potential and a strong bonus structure tied to performance.

What you get to do:

• Lead the planning and execution of heavy civil construction projects

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractors

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, and vendors to keep things running smoothly

• Prepare project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and invoices

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects (civil/heavy civil strongly preferred)

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a plus

• Familiarity with MS Project, Office 365, SharePoint, and Trimble software

• Working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations

• Strong communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills

• Certifications like PMP, EIT, PE, OSHA, or MSHA are a bonus
