Construction Project Manager—Healthcare Projects

Our client is a well-established commercial construction company with a strong track record in healthcare.

They work on everything from new healthcare facilities and major renovations to complicated projects inside active hospitals and medical facilities. Because of the nature of the work, these projects require someone who can stay organized, communicate well, and keep things moving when there are a lot of moving parts.

They’re looking for a Healthcare Construction Project Manager who can take ownership of their projects, work well with clients and trade partners, and keep the team focused on getting the job done right.

You’ll:

• Run healthcare projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and the field team.
• Keep an eye on the schedule, budget, contracts, and overall project performance.
• Help solve problems before they turn into bigger problems.
• Work on challenging projects where no two days are exactly the same.
• Be involved in both the big-picture decisions and the day-to-day details.
• Work alongside an experienced team that values communication and teamwork.
• Have opportunities to grow and take on more responsibility over time.

This sought-after role offers the opportunity to work on healthcare construction projects with an established construction team. You’ll be involved in projects from preconstruction through completion and work closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and engineers!

We’re looking for someone who has 5+ years of commercial construction project-management experience:

• Healthcare construction experience is a big plus; experience working in hospitals or other active healthcare facilities.
• Renovation or expansion projects.
• Familiarity with infection‑control requirements.
• Experience coordinating complicated MEP systems.
• Experience taking projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• A solid understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and subcontractor management.
• The ability to read drawings and specifications and understand what’s happening in the field.
• Experience working with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with issues head‑on.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• The ability to juggle several priorities without losing track of the details.
• A practical, common‑sense approach to solving problems.
• Working around patients, staff, and ongoing facility operations.
• Experience with project phasing and shutdowns.
