ABC Columbia News/WOLO TV has an immediate opening for an experienced Weekend News Anchor/Reporter in the capital city of Columbia, SC. The primary responsibility is to anchor, report, and produce weekend newscasts, as well as serve as a reporter for the 11 pm newscasts during the week.

• Plan, assign, produce and anchor weekend newscasts independently.
• Handle live breaking news coverage.
• Produce newscasts for the 11 pm weekday broadcast.
• Utilize non‑linear editing equipment and manage the station’s website content.
• Lead newsroom initiatives and collaborate with production teams.

• At least 2 years of anchoring and producing experience.
• Photojournalist background and experience handling live broadcast.
• Knowledge of non‑linear editing equipment, website management, and news production workflows.
• Excellent storytelling, editing, and live‑broadcast skills.
• Degree in Journalism or Communications preferred.
• Ability to write, edit, and work under tight deadlines.
