Anesthesiologist

The Staff Pad is partnering with a highly respected Ambulatory Surgery Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, to find an experienced, patient-centered Anesthesiologist. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients within a fast-paced ASC environment. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated surgical team of dentists, nurses, and assistants to ensure exceptional outcomes.

• Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in general anesthesia dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive dental care
• Located in Myrtle Beach, SC
• Fast-paced ASC environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients
• Partner with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Manage anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day
• Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment

Shift & Schedule

• Full-Time (3+ days / week)
• No call
• No weekends or holidays

Qualifications

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Active, appropriate state Anesthesiologist licensure
• Current BLS and AHA PALS certification; PALS required within 6 months of hire
• National Board Certification strongly preferred
• Comfortable practicing in Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical environments
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and positive attitude
• Patient-centered approach focused on safety, comfort, and quality care
